Deborah Rhea
Seehorn, born on May 12, 1972, is an American actress. She is well-known for
her role as attorney Kim Wexler on AMC's Better Call Saul (2015-2018), for
which she was recognized with the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress
in a TV Series, Miniseries, or Television Film. The show also starred her in
the NBC's Whitney (2011)-2013 as well as ABC's I'm with Her(2003)-2004 as well
as TNT's Franklin & Bash (2011)-2014. Deborah Rhea Seehorn was born in
Norfolk, Virginia, on May 12 on the 12th of May, 1972. Her mother was the
executive secretary of the United States Navy, her father was an agent in Naval
Investigative Service. The family lived in Washington, D.C., Arizona, Japan,
and traveled extensively throughout her childhood. Since the age of a child she
was inspired by her grandparent and grandmother to study drawing, painting and
architecture. She continued pursuing the visual arts, but she also had a
growing passion for acting and was introduced into contemporary theater at the
age of college. She graduated from George Mason University in 1994 with a BA in
Studio Art. Seehorn who was studying in college was interested in entering
theater after being encouraged by her acting professor. She worked many
ancillary positions within the industry of theater in D.C. to try to get
noticed. The result was some major parts in local theater productions, but
still needed to work odd jobs to make ends meet She was also cast in a variety
of short industrial instructional films. In the next few years, she was able to
land roles on television productions. She was often seen in roles that were
"very humorous and humorous" as her idol Bea Arthur. However, most of
her roles were short-run series that ended after two or three seasons. Seehorn
was chosen to play Kim Wexler in the Breaking Bad prequel series Better Call
Saul in May 2014. Seehorn is Kim Wexler, who is a lawyer and is the love of
Jimmy McGill/SaulGoodman (Bob Odenkirk).
