Annie Wersching Bio
Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977 is an American actress , best well-known for her character in 24 and the voice work that she provided for Tess in Naughty Dog’s game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She went to the high school of Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis and graduated in 1995. While in her youth she was a competitor in Irish dance, and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching began her acting career by making an appearance on the show Star Trek: Enterprise, and then moved to appearances as a guest star in shows such as Charmed, Killer Instinct, Supernatural and Cold Case. From March 2007 to November 2007, she was her main character Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital. She has also performed in theaters , including Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire, and the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching played FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season time in 24, Wersching played guest roles on a variety of shows such as CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which also features the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). She also appeared as an episode regular on the Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching was the National League's catcher on 2009's Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was discovered that Wersching played the voice actor as well as the mo-cap actor Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased her character on Twitter before she was announced in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7 2012. Wersching was to play the part of the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
